Schedule of Classes

The Pet Spot is Cincinnati’s premier pet care facility. We offer a full menu of training classes, private lesson options and Board & Train Programs. Regardless of whether you have a mischievous puppy or an older dog in need of a refresher course, we are confident we have a training option to suit you and your pet.


Our training classes include:


Puppy Preschool 5 week class for puppies age 12-20 weeks $100
Good Manners 6 week class for dogs or puppies age 5 months and up $130
Basic Obedience I 6 week class for graduates of Puppy Kindergarten or Good Manners $130
Basic Obedience II 6 week class for graduates of Basic Obedience 1 $130
Advanced Class 6 week class for graduates of Basic Obedience 1 & 2 $130
Board and Train
2-week 		2 week class of daily training while boarding $1,300
Board and Train
1-week		 1 week class of daily training while boarding $700
Mini Refresher Courses
 2 classes for past students to practice what you've learned $50
Canine Good Citizen
Prep 		5 week class for graduates of BOI to practice the 10 tests associated with the Canine Good Citizen Exam $130
Agility & Flyball 5 week class for dogs who have taken and passed Basic Obedience I or have the equivalent command competency and can work loose leash and/or off leash. $130
Max Pack (Socialization and Handling for Reactive Dogs) This class meets weekly at The Pet Spot. Participants pay per class. Please contact Eric Humbert at 513-708-7304 to discuss participation and to verify that the Max Pack is meeting on a given week. $40 per class

Private lessons are available for $65 / hour A Private Lesson can occur in your home, at The Pet Spot, or at another agreed upon location; (For locations more than 25 minutes away from The Pet Spot additional travel charges may apply.) Special Private Lesson pricing for dogs in daycare or boarding while at The Pet Spot is $45.00 session (1hr). All Private Lessons are by appointment only. Our professional trainers utilize the Mudpup’s© philosophy, creating a well-behaved dog while always remembering to let a dog be a dog. Our trainers teach with the idea that your pet is part of your family and training should be fun. We use a unique blend of common sense, boundary setting training methods individualized for each family and their pet’s unique characteristics, personalities, and needs.

All activities at The Pet Spot are in a clean, safe, and fun environment. To participate in any of the training opportunities at The Pet Spot, all puppies must be current on all shots (DHLPP, Rabies, Bordetella, flea and heart worm).

We offer training classes on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings. Check our class schedule for specific classes, dates, and times. We also offer private lessons in your home or at The Pet Spot for your convenience. Private lessons are by appointment. Call The Pet Spot to speak with our Training Coordinator and schedule a Private Lesson. For those of you with little free time, we offer our 2 week or 1 week Board and Train Vacation in one of our luxury villas. Your dog will receive private lessons throughout their Board and Train stay, and will come home a new dog.
